Throughout my journey, I’ve had the joy of working with all kinds of fantastic folks—school kids, physical therapists, and even residents in assisted living communities. A funny thing keeps popping up, though: the belief that “I have no rhythm.” But here’s the scoop: everyone has rhythm, folks! Sometimes, all it takes is the right environment to unleash it. That’s where "I've Got Rhythm Camp" steps in! We offer a fun, nurturing space where kids, ages 9 to 13, can jump into the world of rhythm, make some funky music, and discover that the beat has been dancing inside them all along. How Do We Bring Rhythms To Life?
At "I've Got Rhythm Camp," we don't sit around twiddling our thumbs or reading boring music books! Nope, we’re all about getting up and grooving! We’re clapping, stomping, singing, and jamming—using our voices, ears, and every ounce of our bodies, just like the rockstars we are! We keep it playful and super friendly, with each activity designed to help kids connect with rhythm from the inside out. We’ll take them on a fun-filled journey, showing them how to hear it, feel it, and unleash their own musical magic. It's a whirlwind of excitement, laughter, and, oh yes, it totally works! What To Expect?
"I've Got Rhythm Camp" is all about—creating a fun and friendly space for kids to dive into rhythm, jam out some tunes, and discover that the beat has been dancing inside them all along, just waiting to be unleashed!
Campers will use a wide range of instruments. Drumsticks, buckets, boomwhackers, shakers, tambourines, and even their own bodies to create music.
